We finally got hold of some photos taken during the Japan RFKC Camp we volunteered a few weeks back. Due to the nature of the ministry (all the children who came were from abused background and their identity has to be kept confidential), we are not able to show you faces of these kids whom we’ve come to adore and miss. But we hope you’ll catch a glimpse of the love God showered on His little beloved ones through the selection of photos that had “passed” the criteria.
Though there were days where we found ourselves completely helpless and overwhelmed by their short attention spans and their periodic outbursts of temper and violence -one counsellor got punched several times for adding vegetables onto their plates- we also remember moments when they were just, like every other children, so innocent and cute!
They are weak, but He is strong!
Through the theme taken from Psalms 23: 1, God showed Himself as the Good Shepherd who cares for His sheep and calls them by name. Each chapel time, we shared from the Bible with so much hope and burden that God’s Word would find their way into good soil. Praise God that two of the children, Rino and Naoki, prayed and received the Good Shepherd into their lives!
Coming back, we are just thankful that God has allowed us to be a part of this work that He is doing in Japan. We pray that He will lead us to many more opportunities to bring the Gospel to the Japanese, be they kids or otherwise

Victor! Thanks for all you do on behalf of the fatherless.
Glenn Garvin,
RFKC
The privilege was ours. We were so blessed by the experience. Thank you for all you do as an organisation. May the God of the Fatherless continue to find his children through the rest of us who have been found.
Blessings,
Victor
